About the author... Teresa Marrone is the primary author and/or consultant of numerous other outdoor cookbooks (click here for information on some of these other books), and has written for magazines including The Minnesota Conservation Volunteer, Outdoor Life and The Boundary Waters Journal. An outdoors enthusiast, Teresa spends many days cooking in the wild each year, from Minnesota's Boundary Waters Canoe Area to the high desert plains of Wyoming. She is a dedicated angler, and also enjoys gathering wild foods. Teresa has also instructed outdoor cooking for groups including Becoming An Outdoors-Woman and The National Wild Turkey Federation. One of Teresa's newest books is Abundantly Wild; this book focuses on harvesting and preparing wild edibles in the Upper Midwest.
