Website Design
Click on one of the links below to see a website that I designed and coded. Note that you will get a new browser window, so this window will still be there in the background.
- Sue Hakes Realty: A very user-friendly site for a realtor in Grand Marais, Minnesota, featuring several JavaScript effects throughout. I did the website design and coding, and then provided Sue with templates and instructions so she can add her own listings using Adobe Contribute. Server-side includes are used for the navigation bars that surround the core information.
- Joel Anderson, Illustrator: This site uses rollovers to create a portfolio, with multiple illustrations to highlight the work of this Minneapolis-based illustrator. It also features a browser-detection entry page, to direct the viewer to a page that is optimized for Safari, Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer.
- Northern Trails Press: A small but successful site that I built to sell books I've written or edited. It integrates a secure on-line ordering system.
- Seagull Canoe Outfitters: This site gets consistent favorable comment for its organization, depth and content. I did the overall design and coding, including organization and basic page flow; the client now does their own updating and additions, so there are some things that are a little outside my original intent.
- SBSI, Inc.: This site is a major re-design I did for this manufacturer of software for schools. It has some nice rollover effects and a good, clean feel.
- Pickle Product: A site for this small but fun manufacturer of kids' stationery. This site is updated seasonally.
